Unless you have permission to download an image from a web site, it is theft.

Most people who wouldn't shoplift from a store don't think twice about

stealing web site content. Most do it out of ignorance,

but ignorance of the law, as you know, is no excuse in the eyes of the law.

Did you know?

The moment any work is actually CREATED it is automatically copyrighted.
Therefore any artwork or fiction you see on the net or otherwise is ALREADY
copyrighted to the owner, no matter whether the copyright is registered or not.
The official law on this is anything created after April 1, 1989 is copyrighted and
protected, even if it doesn't have a copyright notice on it.

When you steal, you are encouraging artists to stop putting their art on the net.
What would the web be without original content?
